European Union (EU) Ads Policy

As part of promoting our association management software Membri, we comply with the rules applicable in the European Union regarding advertising and political advertising, as well as the policies of the advertising platforms we use, including Google Ads.

Google has introduced very strict restrictions on political advertising in the EU Member States, which has led to the discontinuation of most political ads on Google Ads in those countries. In practice, campaigns declared as containing European Union political advertising can no longer be served in the EU.

Our activity is commercial in nature: we promote association management software and not any political cause, candidate, party, or electoral process. We do not offer political advertising services.

In this context:

• We design our Google Ads campaigns for Membri so that they remain strictly commercial and informational (highlighting features, benefits for associations, demos, etc.) and do not seek to influence any vote, referendum, or legislative or regulatory decision.

• When we use Google Ads in the European Union, we follow the settings and declarations required by the platform concerning political advertising and indicate that our campaigns are not European Union political advertising, if their content remains strictly commercial.

• If any content or campaign were, for any reason, to fall within the scope of political advertising under EU law, we commit not to run it via Google Ads in the EU.

 

Processing data collected on our website

 

The data collected on our website membri.com (for example through contact forms, demo request forms, or traffic analytics tools) is used solely for marketing and performance analysis purposes (statistical analysis of website usage, improving our content and campaigns) or to contact you when you explicitly request it (such as an information, demo, or support request). We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use it to create political profiles or to deliver political advertising. All processing is carried out in accordance with our privacy policy and the applicable data protection regulations.
